My aim with this project was to create a typeface that is strong and straightforward that would be for text and display functions with an emphasis on display. I focused on making it a display version as having both text and display was a little unrealistic. The idea came from some further development of the modular typeface workshop in the second week. I really enjoyed the workshop and playing around with geometric forms which led to this outcome. It is a a modern, geometric sans-serif font that is grid-based. My goal was something balanced, familiar and strong that would call to the reader. I originally meant to do something a little round but lended up with a squared and inclined outcome with a regular stem all along. I learned to love my typeface because it feels as if the letters really complete each other.
