I participated in the open call from the press ‘Strollpress’ for their series ‘Flâneur’. This third edition explored the theme PEOPLE :
‘For our final open call in this Flâneur series, we go back to our studio identity; Stroll is the space where we can go for walk on our own but also sometimes we can walk with others.
We would like you to share your any stories about connections with people and about yourself through this connection.’
I wrote the following statement to accompany my submission:
‘To me, the idea of people is deeply intertwined with the concept of connections. Throughout life, we meet others and form bonds—whether positive or negative. For this project, I drew inspiration from a photograph I took in a place where I built some incredible connections. Another key influence was the book Rave Flyers: 1990–2000 by Masala Noir, which resonated with me because parties—and raves especially—have always felt like the ultimate spaces to meet people and forge meaningful connections.‘
